About Maxi

Hi! I'm Maxi :) I am an artist from the southwestern United States. I am primarily self-taught and have a lot of passion for the work I do!! I'm a bit of an odd bird with a deep-seated love for all things bright and whimsical, and I think that is reflected in a lot of the pieces I make. I doooo got that dawg in me tho and that dawg cannot focus on one type of media for too long so I dabble in a wide variety of media and artistic techniques. There will probably be dozens of different tabs here on the site that showcase the cycles of hyper-fixation I go through lol I'm, y'know, a big fan of human rights and am not one to shy away from standing up for what I believe in. I recognize that my work isn't for everyone-- and that is totally okay with me! What we keep when you order. Your name, email and shipping address, so Maxi can send your piece and email you about it. Card and bank details go straight to Square (and to Plaid for a commission paid by bank transfer); this site never sees them. Location and camera details are removed from every photo when it’s saved.

When you ask for a commission. Your name, email, what you’d like, and any pictures you add. Location and camera details are removed from every photo when it’s saved. Pictures you add but don’t send are deleted after 24 hours.

Reviews. A review shows your first name and last initial. If you ask to be erased, it shows “A customer” instead.

Who else sees it. Square takes payments. Gmail sends our emails. The shipping carrier gets the address on your label. Our server is with DigitalOcean in the United States, and photos are stored with Cloudflare.

How long we keep it. Your name, email and address are deleted 90 days after your order ships. An order that hasn’t shipped keeps them until it does. Commission requests are deleted 90 days after they close. We keep each order’s amount, date and ship-to state for our tax records. Backups hold copies for up to 3 more months.

Cookies. Only what the site needs: your cart (30 days), a security cookie for forms (8 hours), and one that remembers which pieces you asked Maxi to make more of (2 years). No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
